Green Tea Smoothie (30k)
Mango Juice (30k)
Hari ini papa ultah. Mumpung keluarga lagi pada bisa kumpul semua, langsunglah kita makan malem bareng. Tadinya Irdan mengusulkan untuk coba Pong Me! yang ada di daerah Gunawarman. Tapi karena penuh, akhirnya kami menelusuri jalan Senopati untuk cari resto lain. Kakak yang ngeliat papan reklame Bistronomy, bilang kalo dia pernah lewatin Bistronomy, dan dari luar nampaknya tempat itu bagus. Akhirnya kami semua sepakat untuk coba makan disana.
Di luar resto itu ada sebuah pohon besar yang dihias dengan lampion-lampion. Hmm.. masih belum bisa nebak kira-kira seperti apa restonya. Menuju pintu masuk, ada sebuah lorong yang saat itu lagi mau dipasang lampu kecil-kecil warna pink-ungu. Di sebelah kiri lorong itu, ada kebun yang terdapat tempat makan outdoornya.
Begitu membuka pintu untuk masuk ke area indoor, gue cukup terkejut dengan interior dan suasananya. So unique and classy. Dari luar sama sekali nggak keliatan kalo resto ini bertema victorian. Tempatnya luas dan dihiasi dengan meja-meja kayu, sofa bunga-bunga, table setting yang cantik, lampu warna-warni, karangan bunga yang besar, dan cermin-cermin kecil terpajang di dinding. Cahaya yang remang-remang juga menambah suasana vintage disana. Disana ada juga sebuah bar yang ditata dengan rapi.

Saat itu kebetulan yang makan di area indoor cuma keluarga gue, sedangkan di outdoor kayaknya ada juga pengunjung lain. Tergolong sepi karena mungkin itu weekdays, dan belum terlalu malem untuk waktu dinner.
Karena sepi mungkin, pelayannya jadi cepet banget melayani kami. Mulai dari kasih menu, sampai penyajian makanannya juga cepat. Pelayan disini juga banyak. Mereka standby di sudut-sudut restoran, meskipun saat itu lagi sepi pengunjung. Selain itu, pelayannya juga ramaah banget dan murah senyum. Trust me they're so helpful. Gue rasa emang standar pelayanan disana cukup tinggi melihat tempatnya yang cukup mewah.
Ternyata, resto yang baru berdiri selama 7 bulan ini dimiliki oleh orang Jepang. Pantes suasananya unik banget, menu-menunya juga lumayan unik. Menu disini campur-campur, ada western, Jepang, pasta juga ada. Harganya cukup mahal, untuk appetizer harganya mulai dari 60k, sedangkan untuk main course rata-rata 100k, kecuali steak yang harganya bisa mencapai 300k lebih. Selain itu ada juga dessert tapi nggak banyak variasinya dan menu yang ada kurang menarik bagi gue. Untuk minuman, disini mayoritas mengandung alkohol.
Oh ya selain restonya yang unik, buku menunya juga unik banget. Terdiri dari lembaran kertas yang diikat dengan pita. Tiap halaman juga punya desain gambar yang beda-beda.
Setelah memesan menu, nggak lama kemudian lampu tiba-tiba meredup. Ketika kami tanya, ternyata pelayannya bilang bahwa kalo udah jam 7, lampu akan diredupin dan diganti dengan lilin. Ide yang menarik, namun sedikit menyusahkan kalau mau foto-foto karena cahayanya jadi kurang bagus.

Sambil menunggu pesanan, ternyata masing-masing customer dikasih sepiring complimentary bread dan juga butter-nya. Rasanya sih biasa aja, kayak roti biasa.
Green Tea Smoothie (30k)
Minuman kental ini berisi green tea ditambah 1 scoop vanilla ice cream dan sebuah cherry di atasnya. Rasa green teanya kuat namun nggak manis. Jadi sedikit lebih manis dan creamy kalo es krimnya diaduk.
Mango Juice (30k)
Segelas jus mangga ini terbuat dari fresh fruit, not from mango syrup. Warnanya pun cantik ditambah dengan hiasan buah cherry di atasnya. Kekentalannya pun pas.
Milk & Honey Smoothie (40k)
Dari namanya, yang kebayang adalah minuman super manis karena memadukan susu dan madu. Tapi ternyata rasanya nggak seperti yang gue bayangkan. Rasanya nggak terlalu manis, bahkan ada asem-asemnya sedikit. Madunya juga kurang terasa menurut gue. Not bad but not what I expected.
Grilled Salmon Wasabi Teriyaki (160)
Salmon ini ukurannya tergolong besar ya. Kematangannya ok sehingga nggak amis dan nggak eneg. Warna salmonnya cantik banget. Appearance menu ini juga cantik. Sausnya asin seperti biasa rasa saus untuk salmon.
Chicken Steak Jalapeno Teriyaki (90k)
Menu ini utamanya terdiri dari potongan roasted chicken yang cukup besar, ditumpuk dengan mashed potato, dan ada juga potato wedgesnya. Sesuai namanya, ada pula saus teriyaki yang dicampur jalapeno sehingga rasanya manis-pedas-gurih, spicy and unique. Dagingnya empuk banget, mashed potatonya yummy, dan perpaduan makanan ini dengan saus teriyaki jalapenonya top! Porsinya pun pas. Recommended.
Seafood Penne Rigate (90k)
Pasta ini berisi seafood yang utamanya adalah udang, ditambah dengan saus yang creamy and yummy banget. Asin-gurih tapi beda sama saus pasta lainnya yang pernah gue coba. Agak bingung mendeskripsikannya tapi ini enak. Hehe. Worth to try kok ;)
Overall, I love this resto. Good food with good quality, and the most important is good service. The ambiance is perfect and the decoration's beautiful.

A student asks a teacher, “What is love?”
The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders… may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one… But may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.
So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand. The teacher told him, “this is love… You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realise, you have already miss the person…”
“What is marriage then?” the student asked. The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."
The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.
The teacher told him, “This time you bring back a corn. You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get… This is marriage.”

As I told you before (read this), ketika udah menemukan sesuatu yang tepat, stick with that. Commit to it. Karena ketika mungkin lo sibuk mencari yang lain yang lebih baik, ada orang lain yang menemukan pilihan pertama lo itu, dan dia mengambil, memilih itu. Setelah lama mencari, baru kemudian lo sadar kalo pilihan pertama itu lah yang paling pas, yang paling tepat, tapi sayang dia udah diambil sama orang lain.
Ini bukan masalah pasangan aja, tapi semua hal. Bisa benda yang mau lo beli, bisa mengenai pengambilan keputusan untuk milih pekerjaan.. Anything. Just keep in mind that you should keep (and take care) what you've already had.
Gue pernah denger ada orang yang bilang kalo sampe laki-laki berpaling ke perempuan lain itu adalah salah perempuannya yang ga bisa menjadi tetap menarik untuk si laki-laki. Udah tugas perempuan untuk jadi menarik sehingga si laki-laki tetap tertarik sama dia, bukan sama orang lain. Gue.. kurang setuju sama statement itu. And I found this letter
